How Much To Take Pants Out 1"?

Featured Replies

Pair of suit pants need to be let out 1" (cursed sticky rice) and shortened about 1". Any idea what this should cost me at one of the local tailors?

I find it difficult to believe anyone living in Bangkok would need to ask such a question. There must be a tailor shop of some sort on just about every corner, drop by and ask the question of an expert.

Try the street alteration tailors on Sukumvit. 40 baht

I ask because I don't trust people...I prefer to walk in with at least an idea of what the cost would be.

Jeez, in my opinion you would be talking about a couple of hundred baht at most. One OP has told you forty baht, so go to the shop knowing that the average between my guestimate and the OP's forty baht will be 120 baht.

A small shop that only did alterations shortened my pants for 50 baht. Perhaps that'll give you a general point of reference.

Cost me 80 baht to have 2 pair of shorts, shortened by street guy near Soi 27 on Sukhumvit

Sticky rice makes you shorter????????

The horror :shock1:
