Where To Buy Dj Equipment

Featured Replies

I wouldnt normally type this sort of thing on the forum but I need a USB DJ Mixer for my laptop. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and where I can buy one then it would be much appreciated. I seriously dont know where to start apart from shipping one from abroad which I dont really want to do.

There is a shop that supposedly sells (and rents) this kind of thing although I have never seen them open.

It is about halfway between Chalong circle and Phuket town on the Choafa east road on the left hand side.

Sorry, i don't remember the name so, i know, this is not a big help.

More importantly, i think you may have to look in Bangkok.

You can order stuff from Bangkok and have it shipped to Phuket. Just do a bank transfer to them and it comes by bus.

A quick search found one for sale (second hand) in Chalong.

Check it out here: http://www.phuketgazette.net/classifieds/details.asp?thequerytype=&id=104224&Cat=68

Thanks for that info, the phuket gazette equipment isnt quite what I am looking for but maybe the shop you mentioned would be ok. Its quite a drive for me to get over there so maybe someone can confirm the name of it or some opening times. I dont really want to drive all the way there and then find its closed

Yeah, i have never seen them open.

Perhaps they are only open in high season, or at night??

Not sure.

Good luck.

I still think Bangkok would be your best bet.

And another one on Phuket Gazette.

I know you are in a hurry, but these searches do not take very long to do.

Just go to google.com and type in what you are looking for and read a page or two of results.

Its ok, I have already seen the Phuket Gazette adverts before posting on here. The second link you posted is exactly what I am looking for but the advert is 2 months old and the price is double what the item cost new. I have no idea what basis the seller is basing his prices on.

Thanks for the help though.

Items price in the real world and items price in Thailand often wildly different..

No idea if they will have what your after, but Real Sound Thailand (google them) would be who I would ask first.

Thanks I'll check them out.

yeah I would be prepared to pay a bit more being here in Phuket but advertising a used item for double the European price new is taking it a bit far!

If you find any decent music stores that sell pro music production kit let me know.

I am a music producer n ow living in Phuket, what a hassle i had importing my gear here but i got it here in the end but need to buy a pro mic, some bongos and some congas too :)
