Apparently someone snatched a handbag near icon, pulling someone off their motorbike. Many police there now. I was searched, I had a receipt for a butcher shop that said "beef" in thai which I guess is the slang term for marijuana. Was an interesting few minutes

Yes the Thais certainly called it "Nua" in Pattaya the whole time I was there

On Phuket there may be a a high and low to tourist seasons, but bag snatching season is all year long.

I saw the police a few times around 15.00 in Nai Harn, 2 BIB stopped a few motorbikes with Thais and did a search of the guys and the bikes
