Toyota Hilux Vigo 4X4 D-Cab 3.0G

Featured Replies

Does the Vigo have a cabin air filter? (like Camry has)

If so, I would like to check how dirty it is.

It has a filter of sorts. Open the dash lower glove box, the bottom of the lid will click out with a little effort, remove lid. Look inside the opening and you will see a slim black box facing you. The end you can see is the lid, one end has a small latch to remove the lid. Inside is the filter. Slide out, remember which way round it goes. I run the vacuum cleaner over mine every few weeks. smile.png

Thanks. I cleaned it and added microfilters there to futher improve the air quality in the car. The air flow is still good.

I guess they dont clean it at the normal service? It was quite dark, and it has been only about a month or two since last service.
