Phuket Hotel For One Month?

Featured Replies

hello all,

Can you recommend clean & secure & quiet hotels/guest-houses at a good location near to the nightlife/restuarants and decent beach in Phuket?

I dont need any amenities as I only plan to use the hotel for sleeping.

I would like to stay there for a month, with a maximum hotel budget of USD $1000 for the month.

thanks.

For your specs I would suggest the Azzurro in Patong. Right in the middle of everything, clean, secure, well established by Italian gent. Two story hotel, I would suggest upper level. Stayed there for a month when I first got to the LOS.

Location is on 200-year Road (Thanon Song Loy Bpee), which is the main drag in Patong, place is about 200 m north of Soi Bangla, which is truly the center of the action.

Cost some years ago was 800 baht/night, probably around a 1000 baht now, but will be less for monthly stay (33 baht/1 US$). Save your money for more interesting things.

You should be able to find something nice for half that cost or possibly less. Especially if you don't plan to spend much time there. Search for some hotels or guest houses that suit your needs, and email them for a monthly rate. Worth a shot to save $500 or more IMO. :)

Quiet and close to nightlife.. Whats the balance between those two ??

Summer breeze in Patong, right down in easy walking distance to Bangla, great management and staff, should be fine for your budget outside of peak high season.

James Dean Guesthouse is in a new complex only a short walk to Jungceylon and Soi Sansabai/Bangla. The advantage there is that there is no road traffic to disturb your sleep but still easy to walk everywhere. Email them, they will give you a good monthly rate.
