Thai Girls Bitching About One Another

my wife has been in uk now going on 4 yrs, in that time she has went through a lot of friends, it seems they all bitch about one another regularly , i asked one of my wifes friends last night why they talk about one another and she said " you must understand thai lady , they allways jealous of each other" some of my wifes friends from a couple of years ago seemed nice girls and i urged her to give one of them a call sometime but she just said no that so and so thinks she is " hi - so " . they are constantly trying to make eachother jealous with the amount of gold they have etc etc ...the wife had a really good friend for 2 years but after i built the house for my wife her friend didnt even come up to khon kean to see it and since then they dont even talk anymore. i asked her friends boyfriend why they dont talk anymore since they were great friends before , he told me she was probably jealous, its bloody stupid. also my wife has told me that she doesnt want to meet new thai friends anymore in uk, she would rather have farang friends , says shes bored of thai woman bitching etc.

is anyone else expiriencing anything like this either in uk or los ? i know it goes on in bars quite a lot.

I have witnessed this problem in Holland with my first wife and it comes down to the fact that many of the girls are ex bar girls or poor girls. So they are constantly making each other jealous. They don't work so they don't have much other things to do.

Here in Thailand i have no problem at all almost none of her friends have farang husbands. These are all girls that are working and don't have time to talk trash. Just a totally different type of girls. It just depends on the kind of girl you with and her surroundings.

Well i havnt lived in Thailand but i am living in Hong Kong. I was married for 16 years to a medical doctor wife who never did any of that and my current wife a chemist doesn't either but i have run into this issue with some of my past girl friends or ladies i went out with. this is probably why i didnt marry them. they would talk about small things like other people or what they read or heard in the news.

I know too first hand and my experiences are differently it really has to do with education and the bar influence. My (ex)wife was not a bar girl but low educated and from isarn. Its a special mindset there then want a farang to milk dry. (not all of course but many). Anyway put them together and they start to tell tall tales and try to make the other feel jealous in turn making them demand more from their man.

to cut a long story short, made friends with a girl who was married to an older guy. after a 2 year friendship stopped talking, when i inquired why, my wife said never mind you dont want to know. finally got it out of her that her so called friend had been giving my wife a hard time. asking why she went out to work and why i didn't keep my wife in a life of luxury. that she should milk me for all she could, like she was doing with her older husband. on finding this out, went straight round to the guys house, gave his wife a piece of what for and reminded her of which country she was now residing in and then told the guy if he had any sense to get rid. last i heard she was back in thailand after being turfed out on her ear.

seen it happen out here also. especially in one notorious area of condominiums in bangkok. bitch fights, jealousy, back chatting behind peoples backs.

even seen the women going back to the farang bf/husbands going on about the fact that another girls guy does this and buys her that in a sick and twisted way, in order to get their guy to go out and buy a higher grade of gold, a better condo, a new car, new clothes, shoes etc.......

It depends on the woman you marry and the company she keeps. My wife has never had this problem.

My wife listens to be polite and never replies to show off, in most cases says we have no money to shut them up but with that reply it backfired one time and the woman made the get rid of your husband comment, for sure not with hers for love.

Remember you don't get out much Chunk and think in your wife's case doesn't mix much when your around eh.

if your wife's friends say things like "get rid of your husband", well that says a lot about your wife's social circle. no offense to your wife.

for example, in my wife's social circle, she has never had this problem. there is only 1 other thai woman married to a non thai male in my wife's social circle (he is Japanese and 31 years old).

Not seen it as much in Thailand or beer bars,but certainly in the uk they turn into monsters,and you mean women i presume not girls.My gf would never live in the uk unless she had too,due to hearing of this terrible trait with them.I have heard this in Pattaya a few times with my mates wife who is not Issan but Nakhon Suwan and is the biggest bitch i have ever had the misfortune to meet.She was trying to teach some of her guests(thai ladies) how to stitch up their bf/hsbands.My mate kicked the bitch out due to her nastiness.

I believe this bitchiness and petty applications will mostly be found amongst those Thai ladies that have been asked to reside abroad. Bit of an affliction that goes with the territory.

Im not sure if my perspective will offer any kind of insight, but as a western woman ive had various reactions from Thai women who are around a similar or younger age to me. Some have been very sweet and welcoming towards me, but in certain situations, such as a bar/nightclub or sometimes like a restaurant im sometimes given daggers and the whole looking up and down thing. A few times ive met girls who wanted to be "friendly" but felt very fake..more like weighing me up. I didnt feel a genuine friendship, just being scrutinized. I think can happen with many nationalities and places of course, depends on the individuals, just we are talking about Thailand. But i have found more Thai women to be a bit more territorial than other countries i have lived in. That may be down to the impression that im getting that women here have less of a sisterly code regarding another womans man. So there is a need to be more protective/defensive/territorial. I hope i dont get strung up for this..im just giving a general impression..of course NOT all Thai women are that way..and of course many other women from other countries can be just the same.

Yep, this stuff has happened to us but it is hard to explain unless you have witnessed it. Not me personally cos l don't hear it but it's having an honest wife that tells you whats been said. I am lucky there, cos loads of guys do not know whats going on.
