At the moment I am useing a 4 turn Grinner knot for tieing 100 lb braid to a swivel and eyed hook, not had a problem yet what do you use in this situation?

A four turn grinner is used for tying 2 lines of different sizes together. The proper knot for your application is the 5 turn grinner.

I find the palomar knot best for braid.

The FG knot is one of the strongest and smoothest knot (when moving through the guides during casting). Personally, I have been using the FG knot for the longest time and it works for me but I'm not implying in anyway that it is the best. Whatever knot one chooses, as long as it lands that huge bugger (and it doesn't slip and/or snap)..... stick with it!
