No, they don't.

Simply check a few places.

If you are in Patong, The basement of Jungceylon has 4 banks next to each other.

Three have exchange rates displayed outside, SCB you can read from the door.

The exchange rates very a bit but it wont make a lot of difference unless you are

changing a lot of money.

Try central festival 2nd floor many banks there to check the rates, mostly all different but not really worth the effort

In Bangkok I always use Linda Exchange but I don't know about Phuket.

In areas outside of Bangkok I usually just use an ATM. One thing for sure, avoid exchanging money at hotels since they usually have the worst exchange rates.
