Beef Jerkey

Featured Replies

Does anybody knows where i can buy Beef Jerky ( dried & smoked beef ) in Phuket.

Don't ask me why but i like it.

Sometimes i get some from the states but i never found it in the shops in phuket.

I have found that it is easier to make jerky myself. I got on the net and found many recipes ranging from US Western style to Thai Style. I bought a dehydrator here in Thailand from Verasu and have tried different recipes as well as modifications of my own. The main rule is buy beef with little fat such as bottom round and have a very sharp knife unless you want to buy a meat slicer. Just made some last week and keeping them in mason jars until I want to eat some. Good luck.

Someones just started selling biltong in Thailand..

Look in classifieds or baht and sold.

There the Thai-Chinese version avail all all market & supermarket.

Try martinsjerkedmeat.com they will send it out to you mail order absolutely top class gear great range

I'm going to tell my pal Martin in Bangkok you've started an indecent website starring him.......

I bout the the Thai version in Udon Thani (made in Udon Thani) last March and it was very good. I found some at the MBK in Bangkok in shops selling dried fruits but I never found it in Phuket. :ermm:
