The lights in your attched pic are actually a photoshop alteration (i.e. not real) by a member of the Pajero Sport Society. There have been some black aftermarket tailights spotted in the Philippines however, but no Thai vendors have them yet, and to be frank, they're fugly:

Oh well thanks for the info, yep thats where i got the pic from Pajero Sport Society.....if the they look like the pic above, i agree they can shuv em, i remember when i was a lad us boy racers didn`t have true smoked lenses..back in the day( horrible expresion that) ..we used a tin of spray designed to darken our rear lenses and if i remember correctly it worked well...dont suppose they sell it here though?

Both spray-can lens tint and stick-on tinted film are available in Thailand (plenty of cars around here with it), but you'll more than likely only get either from a bodyshop or accessories fitter - I haven't seen them off the shelf anywhere. Both will dramatically decrease the visibility of the tailights however, and both are technically illegal - but the latter depends more on where in TH you are (BKK police won't miss it, but others probably won't care).

I must confess, they look pretty cool. :)

Perhaps paint that silver thingy white or black.

No need to confess TA - I'm pretty sure the Toyota gods don't frequent these forums, and we can keep your Mitsu lust a secret ;)

As for the rear garnish, yeah you're right - Stormtroopers don't have any sliver accents, hehe ;)

R-Style in BKK now have 4 different variants in-stock: http://rstyleracing....100207223609662

I went for the black/smoked ones on my PJS ;)

Thanks for the heads up, MRO...i agree they do look ok now ...better as you say in smoked...just what i was looking for in the OP..

P.S. why didn`t you buy the rear garnish in pearl white ?, or was it not available then

MRO, are your tailights black with sliver inside? Can't make it out from the pics....

I saw some here for sale but didn't much care for the overly silver inside the black smoked lens,

vendor also had (but out of stock) red with clear below (LED also)

Cost here in Manila is around 6,300 in BAHT

sound about right?

Vendors here go to Thailand to buy stuff to sell here..
