High Pressure Washer Motor Repair

Featured Replies

Went to knock down some algae and as soon as I turned on the water, the motor changed it's tune and stopped running except for a low hum. Does anyone have a recommendation on where to get this fixed?

Did you turn on the water, and pull the trigger on the spray gun To make sure the water is flowing through before starting the pump.

I do thanks, but off/on switch is permanently on now, but plug/unplug the electric switch with water already running. Washer is a good 6 years old and used infrequently. Now back to the original question about any shop that repairs this would be helpful.

You might try the small repair shack on Chaofa West road, about 500m before Wat Chalong, just opposite the big Vet clinic (yellow building). They can at least make a diagnosis. Or if it's a brand name then google for the local service agent. The big tool shop between Lotus and Bangkok Phuket Hospital (just before the traffic lights at the sharp bend in main road) have a repair section for all sorts of tools, but they ain't cheap. Just called in today for a new hose for my pressure washer gun and it cost 2,500 baht. Ouch, I originally bought the whole system for about 6,000 baht.

A few weeks back i bought a Black and Decker pressure washer at Carrefour for 2360 baht reduced for 5360 baht as long as you had a members card.

The hose will probably fit yours.

Unless you buy an expensive one they are not worth repairing.

Town, on the road from Central to jail, right side just before Amphur office. Parts are expensive, so I just got a new one. Compressors, jackhammers anything else, inexpensive to repair

Sounds like the Makita shop, Pai Boon Brothers.

Yepp, they where working on 3 large Kaerchers when I was there today. Since they cost like 20k new, I guess it may be worth it, but for my 10k baht 7 year old, I didnt bother to spend 4k to repair.
