Trump's Controversial Remarks at Black Journalists' Convention Sparks Outrage
Another Trumper trying to excuse what actually came out of Trumps mouth (how long do you need to keep doing this). No-one forced him to say what he said about Kamala, especially when the interviewer was only (and rightly) bringing up his past indiscretions regarding race and ethnicity. The man suffers from serious foot-in-mouth disease and can't be expected to answer anything in a diplomatic or indeed Presidential manner. He just opens his mouth and the vitriol just pours out. -

Thai man regrets career choice as peers earn higher salaries
Guaranteed incremental pay rises and a pension. His friends might be making more now, but wait a few years. He should also get preferential loans. Also, it's very unlikely that the has the same workload as someone in the private sector. Try to stay positive. -

Man escapes mob justice in Phuket after suspected voyeurism incident - video
A Thai man, suspected of being a voyeur, narrowly escaped a public beating in Phuket. The man absconded abruptly from the scene, leaving behind his motorbike and items such as condoms, women’s underwear, a cucumber, and items associated with drug use. An incident involving these articles was posted on social media by another Thai man in the Pa Klock sub-district, Thalang district of Phuket. The incident was said to occur around 10.45pm on Wednesday, July 31. The post warned locals about this man who was caught peeping into a woman’s bathroom. The woman called for help, and her mother enlisted the assistance of the poster and his friends who were outside the woman's house. A video of the confrontation between the suspect and the locals was shared in the post. In the shared video, demand was made by locals for the suspect to admit his intent, but he negated any wrong actions. He asserted that he was only searching for a restroom. However, his explanations appeared unconvincing to the crowd. An altercation occurred when a man punched the suspect, who then appealed for a chance to explain himself. While doing so, another man assaulted him causing him to run, leaving his motorcycle behind. Online reactions showed some people argued that regardless of the suspect's actions, he should not have been assaulted and should have been handed over to the police. The local who posted the original video defended his and his friend's actions, suggesting anyone else would have acted similarly in a similar circumstance involving a loved one. Police were later called to the scene to investigate the abandoned motorcycle and its contents. In addition to the aforementioned goods, police also found drug paraphernalia in a black bag. Investigations are ongoing, and despite efforts, the police have not yet found the suspect. No additional information regarding the investigation has been provided. Train Hits & Kills 15-Year-Old Student in Udon Thani
it was a passenger train, and the conductor on that train knew that he fainted at the sight of blood, so he found a nurse amongst the passengers. she gave the compressions counting to 3 or 4 and i had to pull the guys face together and try to use a bag valve mask on her cue. turns out the guy was dead before we tried to save him. the train threw him into the brush and a branch pierced his throat. it was dark so no way to see the extent of his injuries. i found out later that his accomplice gf claimed we were beating him up when in fact we were giving him first aid. she tried to have us prosecuted and wanted to sue us to get a pay out. it never went to court -

General insurance/product liability
Unless you are talking a high turnover business regarding the exports to the US, I think you will find the costs involved prohibitive. Especially as the product involved is petfood. As outlined in the above post, you will certainly need to engage a broker. They may well seek a US Insurer with local Thai representation who may have a slightly more sympathetic view of the exposure. However, you are probably talking a minimum starting point of US$5-10,000 premium regardless of turnover, much higher if you have substantial turnover. Have you been asked for a minimum limit of liability - US$ 1m, 5m, 10m? -
