Transport Company

Featured Replies

I need to move my 29" CRT TV back to Bangkok.

Do you know of any good transport company?

It would be convenient if they could pick up the TV from where I live in central Chaweng.

Or alternatively if they have their outlet around Chaweng so I can drop it.

Thanks!

I call them samui transport, not sure of real name.

phone # 077238701

Try one of these #.s invoice in Thai so don't know the branch names.

Good luck on it arriving in 1 piece.

I have used that Samui Transport a I call them on several occasions. When I bought everything for the house in BKK, shipped fridges , stove, light fittings , house hold products etc... not a scratch & cheap..

If you pack it right, not a problem.

Thanks a lot. Will try to call on Monday.

No offence intended but a 29" CRT TV isn't exactly state of the art equipment. Is it actually worth paying for it to be sent back ? You can pick up a small flat screen one very cheap these days that plus a CRT TV getting bounced to hel_l in the back of some pick up doesn't bear well for it arriving in one piece :o The other option would be to ask if any TV members are driving up to BKK in the near future ? :jap:

The reason for the move is that I bought a 42" plasma second hand from a friend in Bangkok.

I've transported the plasma to Samui, but want to move the 29" to my house in Bangkok since there's no TV there at the moment.

It's a 29" 100 Hz 4:3 CRT Philips TV, and for the quality of TV transmissions here in Thailand, it's still quite OK.
