Bob Marley works all the time, I don't care whats goning on, unless it's fighting, Marley doesn't mix with fighting.

If were talking Bob Marley for a tune for TV then it has to be bad boys :o

Bad boys? :D

Are you talking about the thene song for Cops? That's not Marley, man. I think those guys are called Steel Circle or steel something, but I know not Steel Pulse, that's a very good band.

Bob Marley did a version of Bad Boys, not sure if it is the original or not, i just know i have a copy on a cd. Looking at a few websites it definately looks like he did it but i cant find it on any of his albums

Maybe you're thinking of Ziggy?

Bad Boys (song)

"Bad Boys" is the name of a song by the band Inner Circle, made popular by the television program COPS. It is played during the opening of each chapter of the show. It was released in 1993, and reached #53 in the UK.

The song, which enjoyed much popularity during the 1990s, is a reggae-style song that was also used in the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence comedy Bad Boys. Due to the reggae style of the song, and the similar sound of Inner Circle's singer's voice, the song is often thought to be composed by Bob Marley.

"Bad Boys" is also the name of a song by pop duo Wham! that was released in 1983 and reached #2 in the UK.

Partial lyrics

Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you?

Across the Universe – Rare version – The Beatles – with Ravi Shanker on the Sitar.

Across The Universe"

Words are flowing out like endless rain (posts) into a paper cup,

They slither while they pass they slip away across the universe

Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind,

Possessing and caressing me

Jai guru de va om

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Images of broken light which dance before me like a million eyes,:D

They call me on and on across the universe,

Thoughts meander like a restless wind inside a letter box they

Tumble blindly as they make their way :D

Across the universe

Jai guru deva om

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Sounds of laughter, shades of earth are ringing

Through my open ears inciting and inviting me(to ThaiVisaDotCom)

Limitless undying love which shines around me like a

million suns and calls me on and on

Across the universe

Jai guru deva om

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world

Nothing's gonna change my world only ThaiVisaDotCom :o HAS ……………………… aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh. :D

Jai guru deva [Repeat to fade]

Sounds good to me :D, as ThaiVisaDotCom :D touches and reaches the whole world and more. :D

Thanks for clearing that up. I just knew it wasn't Marley, I've listened to him for years.

THAT WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR

And I never thought I'd feel this way

And as far as I'm concerned

I'm glad I got the chance to say

That I do believe I love you

And if I should ever go away

Well then close your eyes and try

To feel the way we do today

And then if you can remember

Keep smiling, keep shining

Knowing you can always count on me, for sure

That's what friends are for

For good times and bad times

I'll be on your side forever more

That's what friends are for

Well you came in loving me

And now there's so much more I see

And so by the way I thank you

Oh and then for the times when we're apart

Well then close your eyes and know

The words are coming from my heart

And then if you can remember

I am 100% sure i have Marley singing bad boys. If you do a google search it brings up lots of site with Marley as ther singer. But on his offical site it doesnt mention this song.  :D  :o

'Bad Boys' is not by Marley. Are you sure it is not a misnamed mp3 you have?

Lots of people do not understand that there are other reggae artists beside Bob Marley, and so false info spreads. If it were not an original song by Inner Circle, this fact would be mentioned at the Inner Circle Homepage and definitely on Marley's official site.

The same thing has happened to an mp3 of 'Singing in the Rain' in circulation on the filesharing networks - it says "Frank Sinatra - Singing in the Rain"... :D

Anyway, as for a theme song, how about:

'You're so vain, I bet you think this song is about you'?

:D Maybe if i was handsome man then i would think it was about me :o

Fair play it must just be a wongly named mp3 file. It just sounds soooooo much like him. Then i read the responses on here and went and checked a few sites and loads of sites say Marley sang it, but i bow to your knowledge and accept that i am misinformed :D

You should check out Steel Pulse. I thought they were much better than Inner Circle.

Its Raining Men -Geri Halliwell

The Humidity's rising

The barometer's getting low

According to all sources

The street's the place to go

Cause tonight for the first time

Just about half past ten

For the first time in history

It's gonna start raining men

It's raining men

Hallejulah

It's raining men

Amen

It's raining men

Hallejulah

It's raining men

Amen

The Humidity's rising

The barometer's getting low

According to all sources

The street's the place to go

Cause tonight for the first time

Just about half past ten

For the first time in history

It's gonna start raining men

It's raining men

Hallejulah

It's raining men

Amen

I'm gonna go out

I'm gonna get myself (yeh)

Absolutely soaking wet

It's rainin men

Hallejulah

It's raining men

Every specimen

Tall, blonde, dark and lean

Rough and tough and strong and mean

God bless Mother Nature

She's a single woman too

She took over heaven

And she did what she had to do

She taught every Angel

To rearrange the sky

So that each and every woman

Could find the perfect guy

It's raining men

Don't get yourself wet girl

I know you want to

I feel stormy weather moving in

About to begin

Hear the thunder

Don't you lose your head

Rip off the roof and stay in bed

(Rip off the roof and stay)

It's raining men

Hallejulah

Amen

It's raining men

Hallejulah

It's raining men

Amen

It's raining men

Hallejulah

It's raining men

Amen

Bob Marley, did, howevr do at least ONE version of this song, though I could not tell you who wrote it.

I have his version, and it most certainly is his.

I like the "stuck in the middle" though.

A little man walked up and down,

He found an eating place in town.

He looked the menu through and through

To see what fifteen cents could do:

One meatball, one meatball,

He couldn't bought but one meatball.

He told the waiter near at hand

The simple dinner he had planned.

The guests were startled, one and all,

To hear that waiter oddly call:

"One meatball, one meatball,

This here gent wants one meatball."

The little man felt ill at ease,

Said "Some bread, son, if you please."

The waiter hollered down the hall

"Ya gets no bread with one meatball!"

One meatball, one meatball,

"Ya gets no bread with one meatball

totster :o

How Marley died in 1981. At least I think it was '81, could've been '80. I think it's just someone who sounds like Bob. I suggested Ziggy before, maybe that's who sang it.
