taxexile
frank zappa ..... guitar this is a double cd of guitar solos. taken from concerts in the 70's and 80's. for me this was zappa at his best , some of these intricate solos last 4 or 5 minutes and in spite of the complexity of them he never once drops a note , pauses or gets lost. also , to hear zappa without his often tiresome lyrics is a great improvement. if you are a fan of both zappa and good unadulterated and masterful guitar work , then i recommend this . redrus
Its Christmas, Only Fools and Horses, of course....! Stick a pony in me pocket, I'll fetch the suitcase from the van. Cos if you want the best 'uns, but you don't ask questions, Then brother, I'm your man. 'Cos where it all comes from is a mystery, It's like the changin' of the seasons, and the tides of the sea. But here's the one that's drivin' me beserk, Why do only fools and horses work? La-la-la. La-lala-la. La-la-la. La-lala-la. We've got some half price cracked ice and miles and miles of carpet tiles, T.V.s, deep freeze and David Bowie L.P.s, Ball games, gold chains, whatsnames, pictures frames and leather goods, And Trevor Francis track suits from a mush in Shepherds Bush, Bush, bush, bush, bush, bush, bush, bush ... No income tax, no V.A.T., no money back, no guarantee, Black or white, rich or poor, we'll cut prices at a stroke, God bless Hooky Street. Viva Hooky Street. Long live Hooky Street. kayo
Bonus points for guessing which band David Ruffin was a singer of??? Listening to the Moody Blues - House of Four Doors (Album-In search of the lost Chord) OOooohhh and next song is Legend of a Mind Legend of a Mind is sort of dedicated to Tim Leary, who is credited as having invented LSD, and he really enjoyed the Moody Blue's Music. kayo
Killers are pretty cool. The Kane I'm referring to is a dutch rock group.. started by covering U2. Oh, and I'm listening now, to Maggie Jones, Anybody here Want to try my Cabbage? Great track... Far more intelligent than all this crap today... I heard this song the other day: I stuck my Co*k in her pussy.. made her so wet .... etc etc etc Pathetic crudity.. But when you hear Maggie singin' "Anybody here wanna try my cabbage?" It's awesome... Must have been late 20's early 30's... Edited December 30, 2006 by kayo
