The remaining three hospitals each received one unit. PCSO General Manager Mel Robles emphasized that the donation reflects the agency’s ongoing commitment to deliver quality government health services, particularly in provincial communities. “This was sent by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.,” stated Robles during the turnover ceremony. “His constant reminder to us is that the government should reach out to the people.” Robles further noted the importance of providing medical equipment without political bias, aligning with the President’s directive to prioritize healthcare for all Filipinos. The donated Resvent RV200 ventilators are portable units suitable for various clinical settings, such as bedside care and patient transport. These ventilators are equipped with a 3-in-1 capability, adaptable for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. Each unit also offers multiple ventilation modes, real-time monitoring, touchscreen interface, battery backup, adjustable oxygen delivery, and built-in safety features, aiding frontline health workers in managing critical respiratory cases effectively. In addition to the ventilators, PCSO also handed over a check worth PHP 277,940.92, representing the lotto shares for Bohol from July to December 2025. The turnover underscores PCSO’s ongoing efforts to utilize gaming revenues for public health and local development programs. For residents of Talibon, Jagna, Carmen, Catigbian, and Inabanga, the additional ventilators promise better-equipped hospitals and faster access to critical care, reported Balita.
