Sticky-Back Plastic

Hallo,

Got a couple of desks that are looking worse for wear and I'd like to recover, rather than replace them.

Looking for some type of plastic covering with a sticky-back, preferably in a plain colour.

Used to have "Formica" in the UK. Does anyone know where I can get something similar in Bkk?

I got a sheet of Formica (solid white) in HomePro about five years ago. Easy to apply using contact cement; follow the instructions for the cement and use a rolling pin or similar to flatten down. Don't slam it all down at once, have somebody hold down at one long edge to start, flatten a short distance then gradually lower away while rolling smooth. Check HomePro and HomeWorks, the large shops not the local neighborhood versions.
