Hi people

I was hoping for some advice on renting in CM - I would like to be within reasonable walking distance of loi Kroh rd / night bazaar area. Prefer if it has WIFI, sat TV and a small pool would be great if possible. I am looking to rent on a monthly basis for perhaps 5 or 6 month either a swhilst searching for a condo to purchase in CM.

For condos with your requirements, the closest you are going to find is probably Peaks Garden/ Twin Peaks on Chang Klan Rd. Renting here is very expensive, but I believe they have internet and swimming pool.

Next closest is Galare Thong (http://www.galarethong.com/). I know people who have stayed there and walked back and forth to Night Bazaar, but given my laziness and the high availability of transport options, I wouldn't do it. Cost is somewhat reasonable (8000-9000/mo with 3 month min contract) and the 3 people I know that have rented there where happy with the place. There is construction noise during the day tho. They do have WIFI, but no pool.

If you forgo the pool check out the Night Bazaar Condo Hotel in back of Foxy Lady on Soi 1 and Tha Phae Road. They are refurbishing the rooms 5,000 baht per month.

You might want to check out the Royal Lanna hotel. Right in the heart of the night Bazaar. right behind Burger King across the street from McDonald's and subway kitty corner from Starbucks. Three month lease.
