Last Ferry Time From Phuket To Ko Yao Noi + Accommodation

Recommended Posts

Our plane lands at 15:05 and we would like to continue the same day onto Ko Yao Noi. This will be the last week of November

What time is the last ferry to Ko Yao Noi, do we need to arrange the tickets in advance or do we just show up at the pier and go?

Can you recommend a place to stay for couple of nights, clean, firendly does not need to be high end, more like up to 900 baht/night

thank you.

the last ferry leaves at 17.00 but i'm almost certain that there is a speed boat that leaves a bit later. i'm sorry as this cannot be confirmed. you cannot buy tickets in advance and you pay for your journey after the boat has departed. don't get off at the first stop as that's koh yao yai.

once you're on the pier, you'll need to get a tuk-tuk ride to the east side of the island. it sounds as if you might like holiday resort. they've got air con and hot water but it's rather tacky if you ask me. sabai corner is always a good option but be sure your room and bed is clean. the rooms get moldy very easily and it can be a problem. koh yao beach bungalows might be good for you and you should stop there before going up to holiday resort. sabai corner used to be great but has changed ownership and the place has gone downhill.

if you wish for some peace and quiet (but you'll be isolated), try lom lae resort. you can find it on the net but rooms are a bit pricier.

enjoy the island. it's been my second home for years...

thank you very much for the reply.

Never been in Phuket, would you mind to correct my assumptions on finding the pier:

once we land we will take a cab to the pier (what's the name?) and then board the ferry (again, is there any nae of the ferry?)

another question I have is, after our stay on Ko Yao Noi, we will continue to Krabi, would you know the times of the ferries?
