Where To Get Clomid Drug In Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi to everyone!

I am seeking for some help,please !:)

I want to have children with my wife but there are some fertility problems that make it difficult. We went to Lanna Hospital in Chiang Mai to see a specialist and has prescribed Clorid 50 mg, which I read in internet that it is quite common drug use for the purpose of improving fertility. My surprise was that they wanted to charge us in Lanna Hospital 8100 Baht for 45 Pills of Clomid 50 mg. I took a look in internet and this price is more than double that you can find it, at least, outside Thailand. I went to a Pharmacy but they told me that this drug is only supplied by hospitals. Does anyone knows how can I get this drug at a normal price in Thailand? I do not trust to match the internet sites selling drugs. I have read that scams are a common use.

Thanks a lot for any information of someone that had bought this drug in Thailand or similar!;)

Cheers,

sorry for the delayed response, I've been quite busy.

I don't know why you were told this as it is a category "D" drug, does not require a prescription and can be sold OTC by a licensed pharmacist.

No need to get brand name Clomid though, can get locally made generic equivalents, some brand names are:

Clomiphene (YSP Industries)

Duinum (Medochemie)

Any of these will be substantially less expensive than Clomid, which is a Western import.

There are also some brands imported byut from less expensive locals e.g. Ovamit (Remedica -- Cyprus) and Ovinum (Biolab - Brazil)

As to where, I don't know, but try Fascino's or the large pharmacy on Sukhumvit near Soi 2.

be sure to ask by generic name, clomiphene citrate.
