Hi all, planning on taking my family, myself, Thai wife, maid and 2 kids (3 years and 6 months) to Krabi and looking for suggestions for a child friendly resort. Locality to the beach not important as we will have a car.

Only requirement is a big swimming pool and must be child friendly, i.e. people by the pool will not be complaining at my daughter splashing around in the pool ! Prefer a bungalow style resort with rooms on the ground floor, no high rise balcony style hotels.

without being able to recommend a specific place, I can assure you that Ao Nang (pronounced with LONG vowels Aao Naang) is in general a VERY family-friendly destination, as it is being patronized 90% by Scandinavian families during the high-season, roughly from Dec. to Feb.

Just do some homework and check the several hotel-review-websites to find something that suits your needs and budget, actually you can not do wrong.
