August 7, 200520 yr I didn't find any relevant info here by doing a search so I thought I would appeal to the forum members. The question is: has anyone had any experience in using a freight forwarder or mover to get their stuff to Pattaya, Thailand? I have found a firm that will ship a 20 foot container for me from my front door to Bangkok for less than $2000 but I'm not sure what will happen then. Ideally, I would think that it would be better to go through Lam Chabang anyway but I just don't know. And I don't have any idea about customs and taxes. Any advice, gentlemen? Cheers

August 7, 200520 yr Have you taked to Rama? http://www.ramashipping.com/ - California, I think http://www.ramanyusa.com/ - New York We used the New York outfit to move from Boston to upcountry Thailand. Price was reasonable, nothing was damaged. I don't know if they'd get your stuff to Pattaya or not, but I'd be surprised if they didn't.
