Last year I went to an Ag show at Mae Jo University Chiang Mai.

I got a couple of brochures for small rice mills powered by 1 HP electric motors.

Now I want to buy one I've lost the brochures.

Does anyone have contacts for this kind of equipment ?

I'm looking for a machine that will put out brown & white rice.

Or does anyone know if theres an Ag show in Chiang Mai this year ?

Thanks

Thanks Rice,

That looks very close to what I need.

Anyone else ? more suggestions welcome.

There is an agricultural equipment shop(has tractors and ag trailers out front) on the east side of the Ping river, about halfway between RimPing Condos and where Buonissimo used to be. It stocks 2-3 different kinds of rice milling machines. My recollection is they were in the price range of 15k-30k baht. Sorry I can't be more specific on location but I don't see the "Chiang Mai Maps" link in this forum any longer.

Pretty good on the direction. Going north from the condo it is on your right hand side about half way up fro the RimPing Condos Pun Pun. They definitely have what you are after.

Thanks for the replies.

I know the shop by the river, sells small Yanmar tractors.

The machines I saw there looked low tech compared to what I'm after.

The site Rice555 suggested is more what I'm looking for.

But if I asked maybe they have brochures for other stuff.

On the Chiang Mai forum I'm trying to find out if/when theres an Ag show at CMU or Mae Jo.

I'm hoping they have the same equip as last year.

Thanks again

Thanks Rice,

My wife called them yesterday.

They are quoting 37,500 B for the NW1000.

Thats very similar to what I was quoted at the show last year.
