Fishing In Bangkok,

Featured Replies

HI there , i'm coming to bkk in dec and would like to do some fishing ,, 4 big fish i have been lookin in to shadow lake and some other's but cant get much info on them ,,

it my first time in bkk so i not no much about it so could anyone give me some good info on it and where the best place to fish, and how much it would all cost,,

and if anyone would be in bkk at the same time and would like to join me that would be g8 ,, ????

For a tourist i would say go Bungsamran, it will cost you tripple the price of shadow lake but the facilities are better. It is also easier to get there by yourself if you want.

Part of the breakdown of cost of Bungsamran versus shadow lake

1000 bt a rod versus 150 baht a rod

1000 bt a guide versus (unknown but certainly a lot less) a day

600-3000 baht per bungalow or free on the middle part versus no Bungalows but there is shade created in shacks

Bait.. probably around the same price in either place

Renting a rod probably a lot cheaper in Shadow lake

Shadow lake looks better as Bungsamran (as long as you dont look behind you)

Bungsamran will land you more fish a lot more so for a tourist its probably the better spot.

If you have to economize, go Shadow lake.

email me and we can go fishing. I live not too far from Bankok.

Email me if anyone wish to meet up as I will be fishing around Bangkok- most likely Bungsamran and IT Lake Monster- this December. Mostly targeting Cahos at Bungsamran.
