Ac Adaptor For A Toshiba Laptop?

Featured Replies

I've already checked Banana It and several other stores, no luck. If someone knows of a shop selling Toshiba laptop power adaptors (to order?) or is ready to supply me a second-hand device, please let me know!

Do you know what the output voltage is from the adaptor?

You could try somewhere like Supot electric, or the Panasonic shop opposite Tesco. Take the old one with you..

Yes, I tried this already, only found one crappy Chinese alternative with slightly different voltage. Forgot to check Supot electric though, will give it a try.

We left a Toshiba Laptop adaptor in Dubai by accident and had to fly it in to Samui at silly money only to discover they sold them in Nathon!

Coming into Nathon from Maenam pass the petrol station on left and keep eyes open (on left also) for an electrical accessory and novelty store, usually they have some electronic based toys like kids cars on the shop front.

If you want to PM us with the exact voltage and pic of the connector we will call in to check current availability and price before you travel.

Great news julesandmartin! I'll pop up into this Nathon shop, no need to bother and call them. Thank you for help! :jap:

I had trouble locating a power adaptor when mine got ruined during the floods, I was able to locate many universal adaptors but none would fit my laptop, (the plug in bit)

I ended up buying a universal and cut then wired my original plug into the wires.

works perfect now

Toshiba Thailand head office wants bloody 3300 THB for the new adaptor, and that excludes VAT and shipment from BKK :whistling:. I'd better be off to Nathon and Supot Electric. Starcandle, nice job, maybe I'll end up doing the same...

Theres a shop on the top floor of Big C that sells adaptors aswell, not sure

if they do Toshiba, but I know they do Compaq.

Ordered a Toshiba adaptor from Nathon shop, will probably get it within a week. No advance payment required. A shop in BigC wanted the same price to order a no-name (grade A though ) adaptor, delivery is promised within 2-3 days though. Thanks everyone, hopefully I'll get what I want by Monday.
