I am 24 years old guitarist looking to form or join a metal band in Bangkok.

Im also capable of playing bass and drums, but my main instrument is the guitar.

I love to play thrash metal and stuff like that.

My biggest influences include: Megadeth, Anthrax, Sodom, Kreator etc.

My fingers are burning to whip out some lethal riffs with a band again!

I've been playing in different bands for more than a decade and have a lot of material and ideas for songs waiting to be put to use.

Anyone interested?

Go to Overtone in RCA - might find some like minded people

go to The Overstay. They have Metal and Hardcore music all the time. Last two weeks like 20 plus bands from the UK and Thailand. They have a facebook page. Respect.

get me your email (or contanct number). I write (and have tons of songs written) in the thrash/death/progressive vein. (melechesh, nevermore, morbid angel etc.) guitar as well.

rock pub is the best place for thrash in bangkok...and about the only decent bands there.

I'm sure you won't have any problem finding other guys to play with as I understand that the Sodom act is quite popular in Bangkok and Pattaya. I believe the fans or as they are more commonly known, the Sodomites usually congregate in the German and Swedish areas, so you might want to put up a note in one of their favourite spots or better yet bring a dj the thrash metal holy grail of Expurse of Sodomy and ask him if he's into Sodom. You might have to pay him to get a bit of Sodom time, but it well be worth it. As soon as those Sodomites hear the album, they'll all come running to play with you. I bet, you'll be beating them off with a stick. I've attached a copy of the album to help you find it, but I guess as a thrash metal devotee, you probably are well into the Sodom thing.
