Shortly to travel from Mae Hong Son to Tak.

Which do you reckon is the nicest road to take?

1) From Mae Sariang junction, south on 105

or

2) From Mae Sariang junction, east on 108, then 106

I prefer the " From Mae Sariang junction, south on 105"

Because there are not any cities to note except Mae Sot

making the trip very nice and peacefull with nice countryside views along the way

Same same, there are some great parks along the 105, the Mae Ngao park and river being one of my favorites. Here's a recent thread about the 105 from Mae Sarieng to Mae Sot - http://www.thaiviroads-from-chiang-mai-to-mae-hong-son/. The 105, Mae Sot to Tak has nice(er) scenery also.
