Application To Revoke Jatuporn's Bail Dropped: Thai Prosecutors

Featured Replies

I'm afraid to say that my personal opinion of him is blighted much like the opinion of the Na Sarn community (where Jatuporn is from) in Surat Thani... that he is a putrid buffalo and not welcome anywhere near me. Many there know him pretty well, so I can't blame them - but it's a shame the Na Sarn community had to extend this to his family too. They're just beneficiaries of his immoral work (to differentiate his moral public interest work with his immoral work - I hope I don't have to recount examples of this, but I doubtlessly will be asked to!).

Interessting. And some people say only up north certain politician could not move around freely.

This person can't move around freely in his home town, not because of politics, but because he's a tool.

A tool and a putrid buffalo? Apart from not understanding the references, are they offences in Surit Thani?

He is a tool or he is a fool? what does "he is a tool" mean?

And couldn't some simpleton up north declare some unwelcome politician similar to a tool? But will the whole province stand behind this estimation? Or is such unity only possible in the south?

Gives new meaning to the term 'hot potato'

Jatupon will likely abscond, and go sit at the feet of his benefactor, while they sip Johnny Walker and share chuckles about how a few people with a lot of money and hot air can so thoroughly spook Thai officialdom.

Translated:

tool = putz, peckerhead, <deleted>, useless vestigial sex organ.

A short term view of the world as if by thinking with the 'little head' and not the big one.

Or less colloquially.;

He has burnt all his bridges in his home town/area, because of his loathsome personality and actions. Even extending as far as his own mother being publicly quoted as saying he needs to back off, 'she is ashamed of him'. There is also some legal charge against him that he has scampered from. It seems no one will actively pursue him for it, but it keeps him from coming back home, and so let it sit like that.

Bad people should be in jail, not on bail.

Bad people should be in jail, not on bail.

There aren't enough jails built for this theory yet...
