Please Can You Recommend A Good Dentist

Dear Forum,

Can anyone recommend a good dentist for me and my family here in Bangkok? I went to a place called Dentist 51 on Sukhumvit which was recommended to me by a friend but, after going there, I found the dentist to be very rough and a standard clean and polish actually hurt! I am quite cautious with hospitals and dentists and I just want to be sure that the place I go to is good. I am not saying where I have been is not good, it's just after 20 years of going to the dentist in the UK, I've never experienced a clean and polish that hurts and it makes me question the practice. Has anyone else been or goes here? If not, can anyone recommend the places they go.

I always recommend Dr Panlert at Phyathai Hospital on Sri Ayudhya Road. Nearest BTS is Phyathai. I have been using him for several years and several of my friends have used his services during visits to Bangkok and have been very pleased.

I really like DC One on Yen Akart Road. The dentists I have visited there were very good and this place has state of the art equipment and a very comfortable environment. It's more expensive than most but to me it's worth it. Check out their website.

I like this place on Asoke ... All their prices are listed online http://www.dentaldesignclinic-lab.com/ Every time I am there is is mainly westerners. Right around the corner from Soi Cowboy.

I spent 215,000 baht at bangkokdentalhospital in Thonglor this year. For someone who hates dentists, I'm very particular about who touches me in an invasive manner so went there after much research. Couldn't be happier with the results.

Been 4 times and he is very good.

He will point out what works needs doing

Last time I went for cleaning he took 70min

I am sure he would be good with kids.

In my opinion they are all the same and the only real question is: where are the honest dentists who do not try to rob you 1000 thb for 15 mns of work on a decay...

I still haven't found one yet !

Dentists seem o be the same cheaters everywhere in the world !
