Crossy Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 On the subject of painting your ground rod connection, Oz regulations REQUIRE that the connection is painted to prevent oxidation. IMHO, if the connection is properly made in the first place (clean and dry) a coat of suitable paint will protect it, if you don't want to paint it, put it in a suitable box to protect it.
