Makes me ashamed to be French!

Don't go over the top, no nation is without criminals, moreover, it appears the bloke is merely a French passport holder, without traditional French blood in his his veins.

Not really French, check out the name. It's the same all over Europe. Immigrants from certain parts of the world being responsible of most of the crime in Europe these days.

But they certainly were born in France and carry a French passport....

Where does it say he was born in France?

He doesn't need to have been born in France to be French. If the French had stayed inside their own borders rather than invading and colonising North Africa then they wouldn't have the problems that they do with 'non-French' Frenchmen. If you don't want the problem of uppity Algerians and Moroccans it's probably best not to colonise them in the first place, no?

I think you're just trying to change the subject here. Denmark ever only colonized some tiny Caribbean islands and Greenland but have exactly the same problem as France with regards to immigrants of Arab decent.

Bit like a cancer, eh. ;)

France would be so much better off with a chutes and ladders visa run system coupled with no land ownership rights. That usually keeps folks busy for generations just trying to set up home and shop, and less time to cause too many problems.

"Sorry about my comparison but an Alsation dog is an Alsation dog where ever it is born, a rabbit is a rabbit, where ever it is born, a buffalo is a buffalo, where ever it is born and should be the same for all earth's creatures, including man. JUST so we all know"

An Alsation is also know n as a German Shepard. Just so we all know.

Think you know what l mean. :)

A German Shepard born in UK is still a German Shepard.

Aren't all Brits actually Germans?

:whistling:

No, not all the Brits are of Germanic extraction, only the English are, that is to say not the Scots, not the Welsh, not the Celt, and not the Erse, and of course not the immigrants since WW2.

Seeing as we're all off topic, is an Alsation a short haired version and a German Sheppard long haired?

A real Frenchman would not have fought back :whistling:

You comment appears to be based on the French -Vietnam war battle of Dien Bien Phu in 1954.

No, my comment is based on living in France with a French family for two years.

Be assured there is no difference between Alsation dogs or German Shepherd dogs, they are entirely the same breed, the name German Shepherd dog changed after WW1 and WW2 when the rest of the western world did not want to have any connection with the name "German"...

Thus they changed the dogs name into the Alsace Lorraine area, an area that changed during each war "to and fro" to either France or Germany, however, the culture and language of the Alsace Lorraine region is 80 % German, thus even when the dogs name was changed to "Alsation dog" it did not change the dogs genes at all, and the dog remains to this very day "Der Deutsche Schaferhund".

Please, no more off topic discussion about dogs all right?

I agree. The fact is that a man tried to rob another and was caught.

Whatever nationalities are involved do not change that key fact.

It is a another warning to be aware both of what you are doing and who is around you when you do it.

Yeah, he's not French and Obama's not American. Racism is racism. Why does a Frenchman need to be named Pierre?

Well said. It's amazing the amount of racism that is commonly allowed to be on display in this forum.
