True; most of these uni students are real head-turners in their garb, but it is made ridiculous when one considers they are getting all dressed up with no where to go. I can not help but look, but I do feel sorry for them.

Some questions for these girls that I would like to get a poll on is this:

"What is the purpose or goal of dressing the way your do?"

"Are you aware of the effects that it has on the general male population when you bend over and reveal the lining of your panties?"

World wide most all universities do NOT force adults to wear uniforms. This is just a symptom of Thailands ancient mindset about how to control youth, which is utterly out of tune with world standards. Unless you couldn't forced wearing of Chadors for muslim unis.

No young girl wants to look like just another cipher in the same clothes as ALL her friends, so they use what assets they have by wearing the tightest clothes that show off what they have. If they were free to dress as they chose, in a reasonable manner, they likely would dress MORE conservatively relative to tightness and what they try and show.

I had a uniform in kindergarten, grade school, high school and when I got to college I wore a blazer and khakis with a blue button down shirt and regimental tie. In college the blazers changed from tweed to blue depending on my mood or the weather. In cold weather I wore a trench coat and bowler with an umbrella. I got the bowler from the same shop that made Steed's in the Avengers. Stuffy, I know.

My youngest daughter upon dressing up for an 8th grade party and asking my opinion of their dresses, I told my wife the girls looked like a bunch of 12 year old hookers. And they did. It was shockingly inappropriate.

During my youth I was exposed to young ladies wearing plaid kilts and plain blue uniforms without patent leather shoes (reflective surfaces were banned) and noticed no negative side effects to their studies.

I am a firm believer in separation of the sexes for all levels of education as I see no advantage in having mixed classes.

Boys in one school. Girls in another. Let them study. There is no advantage worth the continual grab ass and adolescent male showing off behavior and it only leads to trouble, lack of scholarship and unwanted pregnancy.

Put them in uniforms, and let the individuality come out in academic excellence rather than pink hello kitty socks.

With divorce rates approaching 50% unwanted pregnancies rampant and so on, I think you have a good idea. Do you really think the status of the family and marriage is better now than 100 years ago with arranged marriages? The Chinese arranged marriages are the right idea. Arrange a marriage for business and the family. Stay together because of the kids and the family. Mia noi instead of divorce seems to me like an orderly way to manage life rather than divorce courts and kids raised in single parent homes.

No way. Young fashion followers wouldn't wear the same clothes 2 days in a row. There is no way uniforms work out anywhere near the cost. 2 good quality uniforms will last a long while.

I asked the above questions to my 10 year old godchild. He knew all of them and is 8 years off his first year of higher education.

But Ok, let's make it a bit easier on the Thai bachelor degrees since - because they love their country so much - they get little knowledge foreign facts.

1. What is the altitude of your home-town village (approximately) ?

2. How old are the remains of the Khmer temples in Thailand (approximately) ?

and then

3. What is the skirt length of the uniform you are wearing (approximately)?

now see which one of the answers will have the best approximation, even percentage-wise.
