bbradsby
What would Buddha think of this? Cambodian Buddha is buried out in the killing fields. Thai Buddha tried to cross over at the Laos border but didn't have enough money to pay for a visa and the special charges. China has offered to send a genuine copy Buddha. +1 don't forget the Chinese copy will be made from radioactive clay, filled with kerosene for weight and painted with gold-colored, lead-based paint

creck
What would Buddha think of this? Sorry to be serious for a moment but; The Buddha would indeed have had something to comment. I hope that many here know this already but here it is: Desire is the root of evil. To end suffering completely, one must remove desire. I would humbly add, even desire for a Temple. silp1979
100's of different versions of events in the area. Who really knows what is happening. The last report I heard was that Elvis was captured by Cambodian forces whilst running naked between the lines. He is now being deported back to the US on terrorism charges. in many cases we will never now what really happens even if all mainstream media report the same, unless it is FILMED but even then thais are able to deny facts but it is a worldwide phenomena that not all people seem to have the same perception what should not be can not be...
