What Brand Of Tea Do The Vendors Use

Featured Replies

Not sure what the name of the brand is but on the packet it's got a picture of what looks like superman. Quite powdery tea as well. That's for the cha yen.

I bought a pcket from Makro and it's called "Aro Tea Dust". This makes the orange coloured tea and is drunk hot or cold.

You can buy "Number One Brand" which is in mostly red packaging

Number One

I'm not too keen on the yellow colouring they use in it and the other mixes, so have tried making my own from various recipes. Have yet to get it quite right although seem to have the Indian Chai mastered pretty well. That Thai tea still not quite right!

Yep, the Number One Brand Thai tea seems to be the choice amongst most vendors. It comes in red and white bags or plastic jars. I tried the Aro brand and it wasn't nearly as good.

It's a loose tea and the vendors use a cloth filter that looks something like a sock and is widely available. I normally buy the tea from Makro.

"Number One" is the mostly widely available brand of condoms in Laos... laugh.gif
