Those natural "alum" crystal blocks... does the "Alum" not stand for "Aluminium"; what many people are trying to AVOID in their deo, and therefore look for natural alternatives without aluminum - after which they smear 100% aluminium crystal under their arms... :)

I generally avoid antiperspirants - and have been using various natural deos but nothing works like for me like the Gilette gel antiperspirants.

Cheers!

As I wrote , a crystal without aluminum. I understand it to be actually be a mineral salt compound. " Smelly No More " is the brand and states it contains no aluminum but I now realize I bought it in Singapore.

OT but one should also avoid cooking with aluminum ( which includes scratched or damaged Teflon IMHO. I will use Teflon but only with oil or butter as a barrier.

bet you'rE really popular with the massage ladies without an antiperspirant..do they generally avoid you?..lol...

..stay off those anti depressants mate ...your confusing us alcoholics...why not cook with aluminum????

Never eat out mate..lotsa restaurants use aluminum cooking utensils....guess you never use "foil" for your barbie either??....

...always sleep under a pyramid of virgin coconut palms facing west unless it is dark ...then hide under the nearest rental Mitsubishi.makes sense right??.....

^ I don't normally get massages under my armpits. But the crystals work well for odor. NO they don't stop sweating, that's what the aluminum is for, I believe.

There is some literature on the dangers of aluminum , there is also much debate. Perhaps you'll google the subject and start a thread on it as I fear any debate between us on this thread might be OT.

:D I think I will put that in the "too hard" basket..I was just commenting...I am only here for the entertainment...lol

Must admit used aluminum content stick when I "worked" for a living..always turned my shirt "pits" black..lol

I was sort of under the impression that "odors" were carried far and wide from the source..maybe I am wrong.

Gotta get my dogs some methinks they definitely "smell" from 2 feet away and I don't think they sweat..maybe it's their food and water bowls ..they are aluminum...

have a good one..

cheers
