I've found a bar on Soi BorKhao, Pattaya that sells it but am yet to locate anywhere in BKK. Supermarket or bar will do.

Should be noted that those are the small bottle prices (the only size they sell), making Dark quite expensive.

Expect Makro would be cheaper, but they don't stock it in my local branch (Sri Nakarin Road).

Mulligans Irish Pub on Khao San have it too.....I only know that as I swear she asked me if I wanted Beer Lao Draught and out came Beer Lao Dark which, until that point, I never knew existed....

Now that really would be worth making an effort to track down if it ever came to Bangkok...

I think they have this in Chequers in Suk Soi 4, can't be 100% though, it was a smaller looking bottle but still had 330ml in it, so it was the same size as the rest of the beers.

How does that compare to Makro?

From memory that is very close to the Makro price, maybe 1 or 2 baht difference.

big mango suk soi 4, happy hour every day dark is 75b, they even have a beer lao night, think its wednesdays.

Tops at Piyarom (Sukhumvit 101/1) has both for the same prices as above although the regular is often sold out in a day!!!
