wow...i felt it big time. Nimmenheimen area.. still feeling some small vibrations.

OMG San Sai - Shook the <deleted> out of our house. Still going 8.58pm.

Felt it in San Sai. Not too much - doors rattled a little. Long, but gentle.

Here too, inside the moat

:o I thought that I was having a stroke until I saw everyone else was scared too. :o

Be grateful. That was a tremor. If that had been an earthquake it would have felt very different.

Yes, you beat me on this one. 30seconds ago in Padet (sp?)

Here too near Saraphi, a long one.

yes it shook twice in San Sai - at 20.56 hours......this is not the first one......I have witnessed 4 in the last 15 years in Chiang Mai

Here in sansai too near Payap Uni. About 40 seconds or so. Some tremor!!!!!

Holy crap!! Felt it in Chiang mai for about 30 seconds was about to run outside, when it stopped, it makes you realise how fragile our lives are.

Nice one!!

Happy I didn't drink tonight or I would have missed it.. That's what I usually feel like. ;)

it was very long here at our house by rimping,,,felt like 3 separate jolts. my whole house shook, woke the kid up. I lived many years in SFO and did not feel them like this too often. USGS reports 3 quakes off japan, but time is not quite right.. see what else comes in.

Yes - I'm in a tall office building in Bangkok - and it was swaying. Blinds banging on the windows and galss creaking.

Having spent a decade in California, I was headed outside. Maejo. Dogs are miffed.

Well I always wanted to feel what an earthquake was like. a small one that is. It feels so liquid, very interesting.

I'm on the 11th floor of an old 15 story building out near CMU.

Swayed quite a bit, and went on for about 20 seconds or so.....

5 ish... sloshed some of the pond water out. Was just wondering if perhaps Japan had a biggie and a knock-on effect...

Lets count ourselves lucky the faults under us can't get too sticky at this point in time!

let's have a Richter Scale sweepstakes.

Any Guesses?

Felt like a mid 4 to me but depends on it's proximity.

I was told a 4 would cause damage in Bangkok because it's so unstable. I'm going for a 3.8

Spilt some hundred litres out of the pool. And the orchid collection still swinging ...

long roller here in Bor Sang.. probably much worse nearer the epicenter. Long rollers like this, and I'm from SF and Japan, tend to indicate a much stronger quake further away.

Hope all are safe....
