deejah Posted March 28, 2011 Share Posted March 28, 2011 this is neither a complaint or criticism simply observations 2 things that happen over and over one is the dreaded huh? doesn't matter what i say in what language, english or thai the response is 'huh?' if i wait a few seconds before i repeat it often sinks in, they really did hear me! in fact i am pleasantly surprised when they dont day huh! the other is repeating the same thing, idea, concept when having 'conversations' i have my theories why what are yours? please be culturally sensitive follow TV rules and keep the thread open thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's usage might only be considered unworthy {even gauche} in a public sphere - naturally, since everyone used this expressive in familiar surrounding, such wouldn't be looked upon as impolite. Usually the phone just gets put down and they hope you will hang up and go away as they don't want to be impolite and tell you they cannot help you. Asian manners.
