Visa Extension

Hi there. I'm currently traveling around Thailand with a tourist visa. I hear that when i extend my visa i need to do it at the nearest immigration office to where I'm staying. I noticed on the website it lists several places for Bangkok. Can i extend my visa at any one of these places?
