April 5, 201115 yr and let's not fergit the back up singers whose voices many times soar above that of the principal singer...there are too many to list or to remember... I sure did like dem gurls in the Stop Making Sense movie...Emmy Lou Harris on Dylan's Desire...and the woman backing up Neil Young on Heart of Gold on the Harvest album... and yeah, heh, heh...Janis grabbed my wrist and signed my jacket in 1969 in Pasadena, etc, etc.... don't tell my teenaged thai nieces or the awareness of the western significance of that moment may be too much for them to bear..they love and admire their uncle tuts enough already...
