Cage Bird Breeders.

I am looking to buy cage bred birds, hopefully two pair or more of Amandava amandava finches better known as Strawberry finch, this is to inject new blood into my present three breeding pairs that are getting a bit old now.

In the last three years I have been able to release back into the wild approximately thirty birds of which about 20 have formed a small flock along the local river bank, apparently these birds have not been seen in this vicinity for years, something I'm trying to redress.

I live in Lampang province and while I understand that there are Avadavats in relatively small numbers further north I know that they are being trapped and sold, unfortunately there is nothing I can do about that.

Any suggestions of other species that could be available to breed for release that are becoming rare would be welcome. I have budgies, zebs, stars and a few gouldians but I do not Sell Any Birds, hope there are fellow bird fanciers out there that can help.
