They have also just bumped up all of their prices for flights from UK to Thailand by 7% compared to last week. All flights for April and May were £450, now they are all £480. Last year the same flight was £400 when booked just two days before departure, so that's at least a 20% rise in one year.

They are a lousy airline anyways with budget standards and 5 star prices, they will be my last resort. I'm going to start checking every other option right now.

Any suggestions to where I can look would be great

Unfortunately, a once decent air carrier gone bad. Should have been outta business years ago - if it wasn't for the government underwriting. Corruption and shenanigans has destroyed Thai Airways.

Westeasttravel.com are usually worth checking-out, as they are a main-agent for Thai, but also know about most of the cheaper indirect-route alternatives. Have used them several times some years ago, and would definitely recommend them, for UK-BKK-UK tickets. B)

Please define "citizen". I presume that means a Thai citizen.

Just cheap publicity, these flights are probably fully booked already.

...by the employees of THAI who knew about it weeks ago and wanted to go on holiday? B)
