Why limit youself to only prospective farang friends? Why not include Leuk Kreungs and Thai kids as well? Probably much more interesting, fun and rewarding for you.

I second lannarebirth. I came here my first time at 19. I didn't know a soul (and in those days -- nearly 30 years ago -- there weren't many Falang teenagers and obviously no internet forums or facebook.)

I just got out there and had an amazing time, a lot of with the Thais that I met.

EDIT TO ADD:

On second thought -- it would be irresponsible of me to suggest you did it the way I did; stick to the internet!

(But I did have me some big fun).

i myself am a Leuk Kreung haha, i do have some thai friends but i do find it hard to communicate with them sometimes, as i cant speak very good thai, I have been going out and meeting heaps of amazing people, i was only posting this forum out of curiosity to see if there was any others in my situation living here, thankyou guys for your help, much appreciated.

or the boys... Here's an interesting bit of trivia. Leuk Kreung are quite the hot commodity in "adult films" directed at the Thai gay community. I'll spare you the additional torrid steamy details, but there is a very large market for them and many Thais seeks them out for certain types of relationships.

If someone wants to hang around others of a similar age then the logical move would be to go where they congregate. In the case of late teen to early 20's, a university should be destination number 1. It's a no brainer. The 2nd likely place will be a shopping mall, The bumping into a girl and apologizing profusely is a tried and true method that works even for the "elderly". (Don't know if it works on guys though.)
