JAKARTA, INDONESIA (BNO NEWS) -- The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) chairman Nurdin Halid is to be investigated by the police regarding the alleged attack on Indonesian Premier League director's vehicle, officials said Wednesday.

Jakarta's Metro Jaya Police Office Senior Commissioner Baharudin Djafar told Indonesia's Antara news agency that a warrant against Halid would be issued next week in order to carry out an official questioning.

On Friday March 4, a group of people attacked and wrecked Indonesian Premier League director Andi Darussalam Tabusalla's vehicle after a meeting between PSSI and Indonesian National Sports Council in Senayan, Jakarta.

Following the incident, police arrested two suspected culprits before Edo, who is also known as Kalong, turned himself in as the main actor behind the attacks.
