September 28, 200520 yr SUPREME COMMANDER HAS HELD A RETIRING CEREMONY FOR ITS OFFICERS, WITH SUPREME COMMANDER HIMSELF AMONG THE RETIREES The Supreme Commander held the year 2005 retirement ceremony for soldiers of the Supreme Command yesterday (September 27th). Supreme Commander CHAIYASIT SHINAWATRA (ชัยสิทธิ์ ชินวัตร) chaired the ceremony where a total of 179 soldiers will retire this year. Of these, 162 were commission-officers. Among the retirees include Gen. CHAIYASIT and the Deputy Supreme Commander, Air Chief Marshal ANUPHAN SANITWONG NA AYUTTHAYA (อนุพันธ์ สนิทวงศ์ ณ อยุธยา). On this occasion, Gen. CHAIYASIT presented certificates of valor as well as gifts to all retirees for their invaluable services to the Kingdom of Thailand.
