Ankle Specialists/Sugery

Featured Replies

Hello all. If anyone who has had experience with please share...!

I fractured my fibula and have broken my ankle. Anyone know of any specialists or can give any recomendations on where to go and specifically any particularly skilled practitioners who have ankle experience??? The leg will heal but its the ankle that I am more concerned about;. The doctor I have seen just doesn't seem knowledgeable and I know the more serious of the problem lies in the ankle.

I am in pain and would like to get this seen to asap. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bumrungrad Hospital Sukhumvit soi 1 or BNH hospital on Convent Road. They have qualified , english speaking specialists.

I have a plate and 7 screws in my left leg/ankle. I can't remember the orthopedic surgeon I saw a few years back at Bangkok Christian Hospital, but we X-rayed my ankle and discussed removal of several of the screws. He seemed competent and our discussions were in English.

BH as mentioned above has a searchable database of doctors and their specialties and where they got their training. It is worth a look.

Thank you to both of you for the recommendations. I took a look and called BCH, BNH, and Bumrungrad. Good reputations as a hospital (though that can be disputed). Language is not that big of an issue as I can speak Thai but was wondering if anyone had any personal experiences or knowledge that they are willing to share. My ears are open. Thanks again.
