bubblegum
I like cooking Indonesian food and have been ordering herbs an so on from abroad a lot. Recently I found many thing avalable in Thailand, even a form of Ketjap Manis (sweet soy). It is sold at Tesco Lotus under the brand name "Nguan Chiang", a bottle with a orange/yellow lable with the logo of a steamship. What I still haven't found is ketoembar, grounded coriander seeds, anyone seen this spice?
KarenBravo
Ground coriander in every spice rack I have seen in the supermarkets (Villa, Tescos). Is this not what you're after?

KarenBravo
It is but I haven't seen it at all ????? Does it maybe have an English name I'm not familiar with? English name is Ground Coriander. Haven't been to Tesco in awhile, but, I definitely know that it's available at Villa Supermarket in Chalong and at the Patong Deli supermarket. I buy it for my Indian curries. Pakaty
You can buy this from the deli in Patong. It is a good value compared to the imported spices at Tesco and Carrefour etc. At 13 Baht it will almost fill an average spice bottle. Love Indian food wish I knew how to make it.
