Anyone Driving From Phuket Towards Chumphon / Hua Hin / Bangkok Tomorrow?

Featured Replies

I need to go to the very north of Surat Thani tomorrow or Tuesday, Tha Chana disctrict on the main road towards Chumpon / Bangkok.

If anyone is driving to Bangkok, Hua Hin or Chumphon or in that direction tomorrow and would consider to take me please PM me and tell me how much you would like for fuel to take me.

I normally drive myself, but don't have a car at the moment and there doesn't seem to be a direct bus that would stop to drop me off at the main road, I would have to take a bus to Surat Thai city first which is not on the way and change to a mini-van there, a lot of hassle and would take extra time.

As I don't go back to Phuket or any bigger city afterwards, a rental car is also not a good option.

If you dont succeed in getting a ride, you can take the minibusses from Phuket town to Surat, Phun Pin. Leaves Phuket every hour.

Change to another minibus in Phun Pin to Tha Chana, also leaves every hour from Phun Pin.

Phun Pin is the location for Surat Thani railwaystation

KBB, are these minibusses leaving from Phuket town busstation?

the road from Robinson to Land office and the jail, half way, next to a major klong (canal), opposit a car battery shop and a firearm dealer. There is usually at least one bus parked roadside. used to be 180 baht, probably like 250 baht now. 0600 to 1800 hours. seat reserved when ticket payed
