Ivan, that's the tail rotor assembly only. The majority of the helicopter was allegedly destroyed by the alleged Seals after it allegedly crashed while landing at the alleged compound.

After he was caught and brought to Gitmo, he was interrogated (maybe Cheney and his waterboard, who knows?). He was asked about a young courier who the CIA suspected had been assisting OBL. The interrogators knew the courier was a student of the fat #3 guy, but #3 denied ever knowing him, said he was 'a nobody' and kept trying to change the subject. At that moment, the CIA knew to follow the courier and voila!, the stooge led them right to OBL's doorstep.

Almost any believer in Islam will use the blinding and denial tactics when under pressure due to what they were taught in the haddiths and/or surahs. It's part of the overall jihad.

The articles were about the efforts by the CIA to recruit, fund, and train Muslim radicals to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. but I have a sneaky feeling that Bin Laden is not dead, captured yes but dead I doubt it, the special forces would more than likely have been told to take him alive if possible, this outcome would be very pleasing to me, they could be interogating him at a secret location and do with him as they wish and give him what he deserves

I would agree with you on all of this, but too many operatives were involved and there are too many leaks these days. I think that they just executed him to avoid a lot of problems.
