What Price For A Tv In Pp

Featured Replies

Have any of you ladies and/or gents been to PP for a TV recently?

I was told about a month ago that the price was now B1225 for single entry TV's.

Would like any input on this pls.

I was there last week. The cost of a Single TV is $35.

However, I did also have some baht in my back pocket, so I asked how much.

I was expecting it to be the same as Laos, 1000 baht, and was a little surprised when she replied 1,200 baht.

Take plenty of US$ and hang on to your baht.

How much are they asking for a Cambodian visa at the border these days? The visa companies are going for 1000 - 1200 for that when in fact it should cost only 600 at current exchange rates. I know there's no problem paying $20 at the PP airport, but doing it at the border seems difficult going on reports I've seen.

Sorry tropo I meant a Thai TV not a Cambodian TV. Although I know what you mean about the over charges at the border.

The last time I went out for my 90 days I over heard the agent telling people about the prices of Thai TV's. He mentioned that the price would still be 1000Bt in Laos but said the price was 1225Bt in Penom after the freebe date had past. Didn't think to ask why at the time as it didn't concern me but a friend asked me about it and I was looking for any more info.
